It’s feature set includes automatic discovery, customizable alerts, API access, billing system for ports on the network, automatic updates and many more. It also has multiple authentication methods like MySQL, HTTP, LDAP, Radius, Active Directory.

We can also get the LibreNMS native Android and iOS app so that we can monitor our devices while roaming everywhere.

How to Configure Email Alerts on Zabbix4


Zabbix is an open-source monitoring and alerting software used to monitor network devices, virtual machines, remote services, cloud infrastructure and a lot more. It is similar to other monitoring tools like LibreNMS and Icinga but is far more reliable and easily scalable.

Setting up e-mail alerts will notify us about any problem that occurs in an instance. It does not wait for a user to log in on the Zabbix web interface and identify the problem.

So in order to get started, we will first make sure our system is up-to-date and we will then install required packages

How to install Icinga on Centos 7.


Icinga is an open source monitoring system used for monitoring infrastructure including web servers, network equipment, low-level services and lot more. Beside monitoring, it also help us to send alerts for any outage and we can create reports too.
So if you tiered of unplanned outages or you want to monitor disk usage and service status of your application, then Icinga  can help you in that.

So let’s get started.

So before we begin installing Icinga2 on our system we first have to install some extra packages.
